This session focuses on finger cymbals (zills) for dancers wanting to build rhythm control, musicality, and coordination. We will learn proper cymbal technique, foundational rhythm patterns, layering cymbals with movement, timing, and short combinations. * You will need finger cymbals for this session. Nov 2026 Sword Technique – Guest Teacher (Powell, 18+) Sarah Joy

This special 2‑class workshop held on November 7th, and November 14th focuses on sword technique, ideal for dancers wanting to build balance, control, confidence, and fluid transitions with sword work.
Guest instructor Sarah Joy will lead the main technique portion of the workshop.
Assistant teacher Lisa will be present to assist with warm‑ups and drills as needed.
You do NOT need to bring a sword to take this class.
There will be swords available to practice with, and Sarah Joy will also provide other balance props for students who prefer to work without a sword.
But please bring your own sword if you have one.
Full Workshop spots are available now. Drop‑ins will not open until November 1st, and only if space is still available. Register early to guarantee your place in this special guest‑teacher workshop.
